At a conference organized by Hervé Novelli, the French Federation of frankness (FFF) announced the creation in January 2011 the mediation free consumers (MFC).
Formalized by Hervé Novelli, former Secretary of State for trade, consumer Franchise mediation is an inclined project and matured by the French Federation of the franchise for several years, including through a dedicated working group.
Free consumer mediation will be designed to deal with disputes between consumers to franchisees or franchisors, free way. Composed of 2 representatives of consumers, two representatives of the franchise (a franchisor and a franchisee) and a President of the academic world in the person of Jean-Pierre Pizzio, Emeritus Professor of the universities, this instance will cover disputes with the franchisors and franchisees, whether or not they are members to the French Federation of the franchise. The scope of the Ombudsman will extend to all of the litigation in consumer law.
"The French Federation franchise can only rejoice in the creation of the MFC and the Commission of the mediation of consumption." The primary role of the FFF is to promote the code of ethics and professionalize the economic model of the franchise. This professionalization cannot be done without the settlement of disputes between professionals in the franchise to consumers.
